Question : Hidden task bar intermittently doesn't appear.

I run my Windows XP (SP2) with the task bar hidden and when I want to access it, I just move the cursor down to the bottom of the screen and it appears.  At least, it used to do that.  Ever since I put SP2 on, I intermittently experience a problem where the task bar won't appear until I hit Microsoft key between the Ctrl key and Alt key on the left of the keyboard.

I'm wondering if anyone has reported this before and if there's a quick fix.  I could shut off all the startup programs and start testing that way, but since it is intermittent, it could take awhile.

Any ideas?

Have you installed all the important MS patches?  I remember being troubled with this problem some time back, but eventually it went away by itself, and I assumed some patch had corrected the problem.
