Question : Need simple WAN sollution to connect two small serverless networks.

I would like to connect two very small networks together. Each network has less than 10 PCs and no servers. Presently I am using off the shelf Linksys routers to provide internet at both locations. I would like to connect these two networks together so that they are in the same subnet.
From the reading I am doing I am under the impression that I need to replace my two routers with VPN capable routers. I need something a beginer can set up. Any suggestions?
