Question : what's a ".cpt" file extension

Dear Graphics Gurus...
   I was emailed something that was scanned that ends in .cpt. I'll be darned if I ever saw that extension before and don't know for the life of me how to open it or view it.

Any thoughts?

Corel Photo-Paint Image
a bundled software from corel... and saving to that format comes along with Corel Draw 8 or 9 suite...

and heres a freeware graphic viewer (not corel):
