Question : SQL 2000 DTS Unable to connect Error 7312
We have a few Data Transformation Services (DTSs) that transfer files/tables from one SQL server to another or create a backup for those files/tables into a different database located within the same server. One of the servers is a SQL server 2000 and the other is 2005.
This error took place on the server with SQL Server 2000.
These DTSs has been working fine for a long time, but today I received this error and I can not locate a solution. Any idea what might have caused it?
Answer : SQL 2000 DTS Unable to connect Error 7312
Thanks CS and Mark for your time.
Apparently it was a hardware connectivity issue which needed an immediate attention and once the DTS re-gained connecttion it worked fine.
