Question : Performance Monitor Problems. Counter and Objects are appearing as numbers

Windows 2003 SP1.
When trying to add counters to performance monitor, all of the counters and objects show up as numbers. Re-installing Service Pack 1 did not fix the problems

Answer : Performance Monitor Problems. Counter and Objects are appearing as numbers

Open a command prompt and run the following command:

lodctr /R

This will rebuild the performance counters.
