Question : Error about  GETPLUSo.inf

As previouly advised i have cleaned registry twice.  It still gets installed every reboot.
Error: could not locate INF file C:\windows\inf\GETPLUSo.inf'
What program is this related to and how can I get rid of it for good.  I dont want to just erase it, I WANT IT GONE FOR GOOD.

The error is the reg entry still calling for the dead file to startup, so if the reg entry is removed the error should go away. Yes, you said you've cleaned the reg entry twice but error still popup at bootup, could it be that a registry monitoring programs that you have installed is putting the reg entry back?

I would go with Lee Tutor using Hijackthis, but turn off security registry monitoring programs during the fix.
Try disabling all your registry monitoring programs while fixing the entry as it is known that these monitoring programs can interfer hijackthis fixing entries.

What registry monitoring programs do you have installed? like Spybot's tea timer, Windows Defender, Spysweeper, Ad-aware and other security programs that monitors registry changes etc.


The file "GETPLUSo.inf", could be from GetPlus Download, an Upload - and Installation Manager.
