Question : Interrupted windows update, low disk space

Last night when shutting down I received a regular windows message to "install update then shut down" (something like that), which I did.

I have done this before; normal process; it reads install 1 of 6, etc.  Finally it says 'Do not turn off...".  Then final screen, and I guess at the end, that show is "Windows is now shutting down"

At this point it took for ever and never shut down.  The hard disk light stop showing activity after while and just stood there with the same screen message.   Since I was at a client site and had to leave, I close the lid and it went to sleep mode.  When I got home, the notebook was on and when I open the lid, press the enter key, the on/off, caps, etc. lights went on, but no dispkay was showed.  I left it on & went to sleep, assuming that it was still processing the shut down still.

This morning, it was still on and no display.  The notebook wasn't frozen or hanged since the caps-lock/number lock could be turn off & on.  So I just forced itto turn off.

My notebook booted normally and seems all ok, but I noticed that I had 100mb free space.

I'm assuming maybe by turning it off, any downloaded or temp files was not deleted.

My question is:

Could it be possible that the files downloaded for install/update wasn't delete after its completion?

If so, where can I find those file sand delete them?

Answer : Interrupted windows update, low disk space

seems now i'm talking to myself - lol was answering to another post
here you find them :
In  Windows, when you do windows update, it backs up files and creates  hidden dir's in the Windows dir such as "$NtUninstallKB12345$" etc. These folders contained rollback information and files incase you wanted to undo the changes that the hotfix applied.
