I want to merge a 10 page seperate tiff files to a single tiff file of 10 pages. And also i want to know whether any convertor is available to convert the tiff to pdf format in the batch mode apart from alchemy & adobe.

A program that will work for your needs is "Animation".  Go to shareware.com and type in "animation" for your search and look for a file named "ani12.zip".  This program allows you to load in several tif images and save them as a stack.
