Question : Active Sync and Exchange 2007

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to configure and use Active Sync with windows 2007. i really do not have an idea how active sync functions. Devices used in the company are I-Mate PDA with windows Mobile 5.0.

Can someone explain the process.

Answer : Active Sync and Exchange 2007

You don't need to install ActiveSync at all. So skip that.
ActiveSync on Exchange 2007 is designed to be done over the air and can be done with zero installations on the workstation.

Do you actually have a Windows Mobile device or the emulator?
If not, I would suggest getting the emulator and installing it on your workstation.
When you start the device and go in to ActiveSync you get an option to sync with a server. Selecting that option brings up a a wizard. Follow the wizard through.
