Question : WSUS Event Log Error 13042

W2003 SP 2
WSUS 3.1.6001.65
Although all WSUS updates are working correcty I get the same error every day in the App Log:

Event Source: Windows Server Update Services
Event Category: Clients
Event ID: 13042

Computer: CRSQL01
Description: Self-update is not working.
I have found a number of previous questions about this and tried many of the solutions listed (and there are lots) however I suspect my problem is that becuase EPO also runs on this server Port 80 is in use by Apache and I set up WSUS to use Port 8080 in IIS. I have set up the default website in IIS to use Port 9000 just so that it was running but as I say the error keeps coming up.
Can anyone offer any fresh ideas?
