Question : Signing Form with Acrobat Reader
|
|
I am trying to design an Acrobat form which our users can download, fill-out, digitally sign and submit either through email or web. Everything seems to be working as expected, but I get an error message saying this operation violates your permissions configuration when I try to submit using the free Reader. This error came up after I configured the submit button to add a digital signature. It works when I use the Pro version to fill out the form. Is the reader unable to sign documents? I was under the impression it could.

Answer : Signing Form with Acrobat Reader

Reader don't send whole document back like Standard or Pro. It just sends form field data. Signing is not that kind of a information. That why it can't be used like you like it to be. That is by desing.
Users can fill in form sign and save whole pdf and send it by mail attachement. Then it's signed and filled.
