Question : Perth time zone won't work in Outlook 2007 Calendaring w/ Exchange 2003
I have an Australian client (on Denver MST Time) who wants to enter appointments in his Outlook in Perth time zone so he doesn't have to calculate the difference between Denver and Perth manually. We upgraded his Exchange 2003-based Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007 to take advantage of the 07 calendaring feature of specifying an appointment time by time zone. It works for every time zone BUT PERTH !!!!. Entering the time and Perth timezone simply puts that event in his calendar as Denver time - no change. Changing to say "Cairo" or Canberra/Sydney works great - the entry shows up as the converted Denver time in his Denver-based time zone PC.
I think this has sometime to do with the WA Perth timezone changes that didn't make the DST changes from MS this spring.
Any suggestions - can't find the fix on MS web search or google

Hi,
Did you install the update that was made available in August this year? We installed this update in early September mainly due to the impact of the NZ changes but we also have some users in Perth and have no issues. Here's a good link to the info in case you haven't seen it already.
