Question : Remove Hub Transport / CAS Server from AD
Hi all
Our new Exchange environment consists of 2 clustered Windows 2008 servers for the mailboxes with another 2008 Server to run the hub transport and Client Access roles. The trouble is that the Hub/CAS server died on me so I built another Hub/CAS server and had to wipe the original one. This has left all references to it in AD and is stopping me from reinstalling Exchange as I need to use the same name that it originally had.
Does anyone know how I can remove all references to this server from Exchange so that I can reinstall Exchange onto it.

Well, eventually had to remove all trace of the server from AD witrh ADSIEdit before reinstalling.
