Question : Explorer.exe - Entry point not found  ......shlwapi.dll

Okay I've had it with windows update.  WinXP PRO Svpk2 already loaded - downloaded 2 new updates tonight and now i can't boot into normal or safe mode.  Right after logging on I get a screen that says:  Explorer.exe entry point not found -- The procedure entry point SHCreateThreadRef could not be located in the dynamic link library  shlwapl.dll.

I can only get to the task manager.  I ran msconfig but it won't let me run system restore from there.  How do you run it from a command prompt?

I also copied the file from a xp home edition but it won't let me copy the file because it is in use.  Please help.

and i will say Restore it to the time when u didn't install those updates !!
