Hello,
Getting this error when installing software:
SELF REGISTER ERROR
"The following files did not Self-Register or Unregister: 1. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\TTF16.OCX Invalid Access to memory location To Continue, click OK; Otherwise, Click Cancel.
OK CANCEL
If I click OK the software will continue to load and then I will click Finish, however it's causing problems when user is trying to access his Cardex in our program, which is a .MDB database that basically holds all of their customer info in. When they are in the software clicking on the CARDEX icon, their CARDEX doesn't launch. It calls on the ODBCAD32.exe file. We've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, running in safe mode, verified launching paths, verifired there were no viruses on system...Nothing is working, and I know it stems from the TTF16.OCX control not being registered.
I've tried unregistering and reregistering the TTF16.OCX File however it will not do it, I keep getting this error dialog when trying:
RegSvr32
"LoadLibrary("ttf16.ocx") failed - Invalid access to memory location."
OK
I've ran an SFC /SCANNOW with his Windows XP CD but this didin't help.
Thanks,
itsmevic
