Question : Can't install windows updates

All of a sudden I can't install windows updates on our windows 2000 machines, our windows xp machines or on windows 2003 server machines.  I have one windows vista machine and it will let me install them on that.  The error numbers I get vary:

Win XP: 0x80072EFD
Win 2003: 0x80070005
Win 2000: 0xC8000408

I've tried disabling Firewalls and adding Microsofts websites to the trusted zones in ie7 on several machines but nothings working.

I've had this happen a few times. Just rename the edb.log file, reboot the machine, clear your cache/history/everything, then go on the site and try again.

edb.log is located -> %systemroot%\system32\catroot2\Edb.log
