Question : Routing and Remote Access on Windows SBS 2003 - Troubleshooting failed VPN connections

Under Routing and Remote Access -> Remote Access Policies -> Connection to Microsoft Routing and Remote Access server:

It has listed in the Policy conditions list the following option:

MS-RAS-Vendor matches "^311$"

What in the world does this value mean? I'm troubleshooting failed VPN connections. I've pretty much confirmed that my router is not the problem but rather some sort of authentication is failing. So far I've:

1. Added my user account to the Mobile Users group
2. Enable Dial-in access on my user account
3. Enable Routing and Remote Access

What am I missing? I've set up VPN's before on SBS 2003 and didn't have this much trouble. Thanks!

Answer : Routing and Remote Access on Windows SBS 2003 - Troubleshooting failed VPN connections

I've had to write down all existing Properties / Policy conditions.
Delete them all
Add them in one by one until I found the cilprit.

Otherwise, you end up debugging things that work!

But I have not seen the MS-RAS-Vendor item before.
