Question : cannot get driver to run

I have a desktop IBM Think Centre 818311U and have gone to IBM site and down loaded the NIC driver and there is no executable to run. How can I get the desktop to point to this so I can load the NIC and get to the internet to get the rest? I have saved it to the C drive but there is no executable in the list. When I try to update driver and go to the IBM tools, drivers, the the NIC there is no execuatble to run or select to run so it never loads.

Answer : cannot get driver to run

What you did was select the wrong one... wrong as far as what you really wanted. You downloaded the driver only... not the full installation package which makes it easier for the average user. This is the complete download for your NIC Card.

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/license.do?filename=thinkcentre_drivers/q37z47us.exe

This is the installation instructions for it:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/thinkcentre_drivers/q37z47us.txt

good luck!
