Question : router reset

Im trying to reset a linksys router password.  I've held the reset button while doing a power recycle and that does not do it.  For some reason the default gateway is 192.168.1.254 and the router login say netopia-3000

Answer : router reset

Disconnect everything else, connect your PC directly to the router then try.
