Question : No longer have LAN access after seting up VPN Server role
|
|
I just setup the VPN server role on the one Server a client has. It is a domain. The Server has two NICS and I configured one point to the Internet
PCI based Nic 10.10.179.9 255.255.255.0 No default Gateway DNS = 10.10.179.12
Onboard nic 10.10.179.12 255.255.255.0 Gateway = 10.10.179.1 DNS = 10.10.179.12
Prior to installing the second Nic we used the onboard Nic as the only internet connection.
The Server sits behing an RV042 from Linksys. The VPN endpoint died (AGAIN) and since it is out of warranty I though I be better off using Server 2003 as the endpoint.
Any help would be appreciated R Lee
After setting up the VPN server role I could no longer access other computers on the LAN. I could see them but was denied access. After removing the role all is working well again. I had removed the AVG firewall and disables the Windows firewall.
