Question : Installing SQL Server in Vista

I am using my laptop for development purpose. I would like to have SQL Server installed in my laptop which has Vista as OS. Previously I was managed to have it by installing SQL Server 7 and then upgrading to SQL 2000 or 2003. Now I could not install SQL Server 7 in my new laptop with Vista.
Is there any other way to have the database in my laptop?

by installing the express edition, you have the database engine also.
