Question : Agent Policy in McAfee

Hi Experts,

My McAfee is blocking the auto mail, which i used to send through my program. I have unchecked the block for "Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail". But then to after 5 minutes it's getting enabled because "Agent enforces policy locally every (min)"  is set as 5 and i'm unable to reset it. I just want to uncheck the block permanently.

Answer : Agent Policy in McAfee

You will have to do this through access protection policies from the EPO console. There you will find the policies that are enforced every 5 m,inutes by the epo agent.

To do this, it's best to create a new policy and link this new policy to the system where you have problems or create a new subgroup, link the policy to this group and place the appropriate systems in it.

Perhaps it is easier to modify the current policy to exclude the process that is being blocked. You will not have to deal with policy assignment then.
