Question : I cannot get any of my Windows computers to see the server share points. SMB is running.

I recently installed OS X 10.5.2 Leopard server cleanly by erasing the hard drive first, not upgrading. My Macs can see the server share points just fine however none of my Windows systems (both XP and Vista) can access the server. SMB is running and SMB will see the share points when used from a Mac. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer : I cannot get any of my Windows computers to see the server share points. SMB is running.

No, not really, the good things is that the PC sees the public and printers and faxes.  That tells you the SMB is working.  It also helps in the way that we need to look at the share that you set up.  The sharing from the public folder is working and you need to copy the settings from that folder to the folder that you want to use.

Secondly, could you use the public folder and add sharing sub-folders from there?  Or did you have another location for sharing?
