Question : Windows 2003 Acronis Restore Problem

Using Acronis True Image Server with Universal Restore i made an image of a Windows 2003 Server.

When using Acronis Universal Restore to restore the image on an another server the server does not boot. I get the Windows 2003 Server screen and it reboot automatically

any ideas?

Can you press F8 and boot the server into safe mode instead of letting it boot normally?

Often when restoring to different hardware I end up spending ages fixing boot issues. Drivers and HDs always causing problems

Try restoring the image to a virtual machine (VMWare Server or MS Virtual PC) and see if you can get it to boot...it may well be a dodgy image. Have you been able to restore this particular image anywhere else?
