Question : Lost E mail

Someone created a user for a resume process that we are using and gave it a name userit@company name.com.

The 2 managers that were trying to retrieve e mail from this box were having issues so I deleted the user and set up a disty with the same e mail.

Internal works find (as you would expect) but external e mails to the same address are not coming through.

I thought I had deleted the store properly when the user was deleted but apparently not.

I can still see the user name tied to one of the managers but I cannot do anything with it.

Please advise.

Answer : Lost E mail

Worked through the issue and looked a little closer at the log.  I had tunnel vision on the error and wasn't reading the whole transcript.

Issue was in the spam filtering.  Recepient was not authentication with the AD due to the domain not being set up properly.
