Question : Win98 USB

HI,

I windows 98 Second Edition 4.10.2222 A, When I connect the USB Pen Drive it detects as USB Mass drive and works fine after loading the drivers.
And intermittently iy says that as unknown device after I reboot.

The motherboard is Vintron with 845 Intel Chipset Motherboard.

I have also replaced the Pen drive with my vendor, he says the one which I gave him as faulty is also working fine.

Any clue ????? or any extra patches for win98 ???

There is a USB patch called w98seusb.exe  that might help. It should be on the MS site. Try this link:

Are you sure you are not having USB V.1.1 and V.2.0 compatibality problems?
