Question : Windows folder size is

Windows folder is reading 27.2 GB in size, but the contents of the files & fodlers within don't add up to that (or even close). I've deleted restore points, gone through disk cleanup, etc.... nothing takes care of the problem.
When I carefully count the sizes of the different subfolders and files, they only add up to maybe 1.5 gig. I've checked the swap file size and location. This is not even close to making up for the difference.
This computer is protected with an up-to-date virus def.
Has anyone heard of this?
Thanks

Answer : Windows folder size is

Hi effincomputers,

Do you have protected files that are hidden.  Look at your recycle bin.  In properties, do you have protected files?

Cheers!
