Question : Exchange Bounce Notifications to recipient

Can exchange 2003 or 2007 notify the intended recipient that an email was bounced due to a size restriction?  I know a notification will be sent back to the sender, but can it also notify the person who was supposed to receive the email?

Thanks

Answer : Exchange Bounce Notifications to recipient

The NDR is designed simply for the sender. However what you can do is remove the email size restriction settings and then set a transport rule on a 2007 hub transport server. You can do several things here. You can send messages to both the sender and receiver if the message is greater than a certian size, or you can simply strip the message of the attachment and then add a footnote stating that the attachment was striped do to size restrictions. It's pretty flexable.
