Question : page text is too wide for printer
|
|
My page of text fits nicely into my browsers, yet when I print it out the text is wider than the page and so leaves off the end of the line (about 9-10 chars). This happens in both IE and Netscape. Printing A4 portrait. I don't want to have to force the user to have to jig about and change settings to print landscape, of course.
Does any one know of a solution?

I came across several questions here on EE regarding browser printing. Well, in all of them we agreed that browser is BAD for printing (hehe), but making PDF is one of the ways (as mentioned above). Or just any file format which can be printed not directly from browser.
Or another nice solution will be putting all the page in a table, make width=100% and border=0. G-Luck
