Question : Overactive hard drive problem solved, how do I delete Fast Find
I was not sure where to post this comment but I wanted to thank StoneG for solving a problem that I have had since I increased the size of my hard drive. It would start up randomly and access itself for 5 minutes or more. This morning I went to Google and typed in "overactive hard drive" and the first legitimate hit was from EE with alot of responces. I tried StoneG's recommendation and my hard drive is getting some much needed rest. Thanks EE and Thanks StoneG. You deserve an A+ not a C.
One question: The only way I could get Fast Find to stop was to remove it with my Office 97 CD. However it still shows up and can be accessed in the Control Panel. Is there a way to remove it completely. I was never able to find it in the Start Menu.
