Question : How do I get Apache visible to the internet?

I've installed Apache2Triad. Apache is running as a service. I can access it via localhost. But when I attempt access via the internet I get Enter Network Password for Generic Platform Web 0. I get this even if Apache is not running. So is something else listening on port 80? What do I need to do to have Apache listen to the internet?

do you have a correct and valid DNS entry?
is there a router between "internet" and your web server?
Do you have NAT configured correctly?
