Question : Cfform validation not working

I'm quite curious why validation doesnt work for my cfforms ... I have a file called test.cfm and the content:

      
      


I submit this form without typing in any value, but it doesn't prompt me any errors, instead it just loads the action page as normal. Is there a server setting which I've missed out or is my code wrong?
