Question : Veritas 10 not backing up on server where new install of SQL 2005 was done

SQL 2005 installed on a 2003 server. After install Veritas 10 using an msde on another drive on same server won't backup anything on that server. Network backups work but for that server it fails. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
