Question : Remove restart option from Shut Down menu on Windows XP.
It was recommended that I post this option in scripting to see if anyone has a solution for this:
Is there a way to remove the restart button from the shut down menu options when a user clicks Start > Shutdown? This is on a Windows XP Professional SP3 machine that is not part of a domain. I've tried looking in group policies but I don't have the option there. I've used the regsitry to remove the standby option, but how do I remove the restart option? Is there a script or hack I can use to make this go away?
Thank you
