Question : Refer to the label of a textbox?

Hello - isn't there a way to refer to the label of a textbox (as long as they are "associated") ?

I'd like to be able to pass a control object variable, representing a textbox, to a proc that pops up a MsgBox that displays the Caption property of the associated Label

I could have sworn II've seen this, but can't find it now...
