RE:Task Bar & Auto Hide Feature Not Popping Up When I Mouse To Bottom Of Screen
I have the following checked in windows XP taskbar, but the task bar doesn't pop up when I mouse to the bottom of the screen. This ability to mouse to the bottom of the screen seems to work intermittently or not at all.
I have "Auto-Hide" checked And I did have "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" checked also, but that seems to make it so that "Auto Hide" no longer works. So I unchecked it.
The procedure I have to use now is that I need to click the windows button on my keyboard and then mouse down to get task bar to pop up.
This is a real pain considering I have to do this probably 100 times a day.
How do I get the task bar to pop up reliably when I mouse over bottom of screen.
Is there a fix for windows or a third party plug-in to fix this?

Has the task bar been dragged down to the bottom of the screen? What I mean is further down than it is typically shown? You can 'grab' the task bar by hovering over the top 'border' of it, click and drag it to make it larger and smaller. Has it been made the 'smallest' size, which is effectively hidden from view? If so, try dragging it up to the size you WANT it to be when it pops up, and see if that changes it for you.
