Question : "not enough quota" error on startup cant boot to OS even in safe mode!

Hi, im very befuddled. I have an HP laptop, windows xp home edition sp2. On startup it would not load. It would come to the welcome screen and sit there. So I decided to do a repair install. Everything went fine. Now on startup it gives me an error message "not enough quota" insuffencient resources exist ------- I cant quite get the whole message, it comes up and the system reboots. And it just continues to give me the message and restart. It will not load into safe mode either. Im lost. I have alot of important info that I didnt get backed up in time. Of course. I always to backups but not recently and this happened. Im not sure what else to do because I cant get anything to load. And i have tried another repair install, of course didnt work. I also tried replacing the MBR. Any help is greatly appriciated. I really need to get this going without wiping it.

Thanks

Answer : "not enough quota" error on startup cant boot to OS even in safe mode!

well .. cant suggest many steps however.. it is possible that there is corruption in the registry

I would suggest to a parallel installation.. Install windows again on a different folder .. when u get that step leave the entire installation and install in a new location while installing windows..

or to repair registry
