Question : simple CS4 website problem

Dear FlashExpert,

I'm trying to follow a simple course on how
to create basic flash site with 4 buttons on the stage
and when you click on them you get the associated
with the instance on the stage.
at a certain point in the course it tells me the following

""We will need to change the labels of our buttons and assign to them Instance Names in order to be able to manipulate them via ActionScript. Starting with the labels, select the first button on the top left, then access the Properties Inspector and click on the Parameters tab to edit the parameters of the component. Simply click once on the Label field to rename the button, label the first one Home, you can assign the instance name to it by filling the field on the left side of the Parameters tab, assign the instance name home_btn to this button.""

The problem is that i in CS4 cannot find the parameter tab in properties. Is it hidden?
Do i need to open some kinda panel to access this?
Or if possible is there any simple tutorial out there for CS4 to do this?
Would be very kind if you could help me with this.

Regards
Robert

Answer : simple CS4 website problem

The option for changing the instance name is in the 'properties' panel rather than the 'paramaters' panel in CS4.

In the default workspace, the properties panel is vertical on the right hand side of the monitor. Ensure that you have the selection tool selected when you click on your button, and that you have converted your button into a movieclip symbol (otherwise you cannot assign an instance name).
