Question : How to convert AVI to Wmv with adobe premiere pro

I captured the superbowl with my TV card in AVI format, but it is more than 8Gigs, now I wanna burn it to a DVD but it is too big. I used lately the MS wmv format which seems to me smaller size at the same quality. How can I convert it in Adobe Premiere Pro- or in any free software?

If wmv is the format you want... You can go to ->  File/export/save for web or advanced windows media...
