Question : webmail on intranet

I have a intranet webpage

currently hosted on a windows 2003 domain server.
When a user is logged in on our domain and uses

www.mycompany.com/intranet

he get the page without asked for his name/password

when he is logged in outside the domain, het should be asked for password & username.

Is this possible?

Is it possible to launch webmail (exchange server), also without username pass when in the domain?

Answer : webmail on intranet

In both cases, likely what you want to look at is using Integrated authentication.  This is set on the Directory Security tab of the appropriate website (Intranet web server), or in the case of webmail (OWA), you would set these permissions on the Exchange and Public Virtual directories.  For Webmail, this should be done from Exchange System Manager (Do not use IIS Admin to modify the permissions).  For the Intranet site, you would obviously make the change from IIS Admin.  You would also need to remove anonymous authentication from the Intranet site, and make sure that your Authenticated users group has the appropriate NTFS permissions.
