Question : rundll.exe bad image error- after right click my computer and select properties

I am recieving error when I right click my computer and choose properties.
'rundll32.exe bad image  this application or dll C:\windows\something\wuaucpl.cpl is not valid windows image'- then it lets me in properties.
Someone is telling me this is a virus - any ideas

Answer : rundll.exe bad image error- after right click my computer and select properties

Not necessarily. Open a command prompt and run SFC /scannow. This will check your system files and replace any that are bad from a cache or your Windows CD. So make sure you have the CD handy.
