Question : Have all postmaster mail redirected to my email account
|
|
I'm trying to have all email going to the postmaster account redirected to my email account. I need to have it there so I can vew any undeliverables that might possibly be valid and also to help keep the postmaster mailbox cleaned out. I've tried forwarding but that doesn't seem to work with this account. Not sure why. In the old days I would have just setup another email account under outlook but exchange doesn't allow you that luxury. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Answer : Have all postmaster mail redirected to my email account

1) Open Exchange System Manager and expand "Administrative Groups -> Administrator Group -> Servers -> [Server name] -> Protocols -> SMTP".
2) Right click the SMTP Virtual Server in there (you may have several) and click "Properties".
3) Click on the "Messages" tab and enter your e-mail address in the field called "Send copy of Non-Delivery Reports to:".
Any NDR that goes through that virtual server will be sent to the e-mail address you specify.
