I downgraded my Acer Aspire 4520 to xp
now when I insert a dvd a error comes up.

Hi Luze,
While you can get another player to play DVD's free or commercial you can still play your DVD's with windows media player. What you need is a decoder. My recommendation is K-Lite Codec Pack

It is free to download and use. You will also then have the ability to play Xvid and divx files as well as your DVD's.
