Question : CPM: Average Rates

Hello,

Does anyone have any information/links/articles for banner CPM rates for the major websites: Yahoo, MSN, etc?  

Also, any banner CPM rates for well-known niche sites would be instructive, too: knitting.com (just an idea), radio_contolled_cars_planet.com, etc  Seeing what a successful niche site charged per 1000 would also be useful for pricing.  A client has asked specifically for a banner and CPM.

Niche sites charge what they think they can get and normally there is no way of knowing until you ask them.  They will often charge different rates on the same page!
