Try this:
1.) Open the printer and faxes control panel.
2.) Select the HP LaserJet 1018 printer (single-click)
3.) From the file menu choose Server Properties.
4.) On the Drivers tab, select the HP LaserJet 1018 printer and click the properties button.
5.) In the Driver Properties dialog, choose the "Driver File" and click the properties button.
6.) On the Version tab, the File version at the top of the final properties dialog is the version.
