Question : Not receiving all emails

Hi,

I'm runing Microsoft Outllok 2007 on a Vista Business edition and the email server is google apps.
Another data that might be important: antivirus is AVG free edition

Problem is that does not download all emails, there are certain emails that are left on the server. I haven't find any pattern yet.

I'm pretty sure the problem is either on the Outllok 2007 or on the Anitivirus add on for Outlook, because I also run another network that has the same configuration but instead of Outllok they use Thunderbird and there are no problems.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hello phaeberle,

Are you using AVG version 8?

Check the emails not downloaded.  Gmail does not download via POP to Outlook emails sent to yourself.

If not the pattern, check if antivirus is blocking receiving of some emails. Temporarily disable antivirus check of emails and test.
