Question : #VALUE! error in Excel 2007
Experts, I took the below from my stock market summary and pasted it into an excel 2007 sheet. I then wanted to figure the price I paid for the stock. I divided the column by the column (the 10020.74/104 using the formula F3/D3), but I keep getting the #VALUE! error. I tried changing the format of the below to numbers or curreny and still get the same result. I tried copying this spreadsheet and ,Past Special> it as a Formulas, Values, Numbers and nothing works. Any ideas?
Stocks GAIN/LOSS 2,008 Shares Cost Share Proceeds Share bal $ Bal 01/16/2007 Buy AAPL 104 #VALUE! 10,020.74 149 13,253.31 01/24/2007 Buy AAPL 40 3,471.19 189 16,724.50
