Question : What could cause the amount of time to save a file go from 1 second to 20 seconds, every day starting at 1pm?

A user noticed it often takes longer to save a file in Word starting at around 1pm every day.  She has kept record, noting it would be one second (instantatneous) in the morning, but starting at 1pm, the amount of time goes to 20 seconds.  Other users have noticed network performance start to lag "after lunch".

I looked again at the Spiceworks scanning schedule.  Even though it was set for 8pm at night, it was also set to scan every 4 hours after that.  I have changed the schedule once more and the problem MAY be resolved.  I will be monitoring performance to confirm this.'
