Question : Exchange 2007 Cluster with two HUB servers and the file share witness

When using a 2 node Active/Passive cluster with CCR to the passive node, in Exchange 2007, and utilizing the HUB server (as best practices recommends) for the File share witness for the the cluster (quorum), what happens if you have TWO HUB servers in place for redundancy?
If one HUB server fails, will the second HUB server pick up the responsibility as the file share witness for the mailbox server cluster?

Answer : Exchange 2007 Cluster with two HUB servers and the file share witness

HI,

it is even better to have the file share witness on the domain controller of that area. There is no redundancy on the file share witness fail-over.What you are talking is purely redundancy on file share witness its not supported. One of my customers tried file share witness on a DFS share and it didn`t work with him .
