Question : RPC Server unavailable on Windows 2003 Terminal Server

I am currently running 2 servers. One is Windows 2003 Standard R2 as the domain contraoller and the other is a Windows 2003 Standard x64 R2 as a terminal server.  At intermittent times when a user tries to log into the terminal server they get the login screen flash up and then be repl,aced by another window with the message "The RPC Servier is unavailable".  After several repeated attempts a successful login will occur.  I don't know where to begin looking to resolve this issue.  Any help would be appreciated
